CES 2024 will be happening before we know it, taking over Las Vegas with huge crowds, booths full of products, and lots of companies touting how AI is improving their products. As we mentioned in our CES preview, the conference has had its ups and downs, but with more and more attention focused on bigger budget announcements from the likes of Samsung, Sony, and Nvidia, there are more and more opportunities for startups to get noticed.
TechCrunch will be on site at CES 2024 for the entirety of next week’s event, with a particular focus on startups that could be headlining their own massive livestreams in the coming years. You can follow our team’s coverage of CES here on the site and through our social handles, but we all know these famous events are still important, so let’s cut to the chase .
As has become the norm, Monday, January 8 will be a great day for consumer technology and transportation enthusiasts as many of the most high-profile press conferences will be livestreamed to the public at 8 a.m. PT/ET. Many programs will be broadcast starting at 11am. These events set the stage for the public CES show floor, which opens on January 9th and runs through January 12th.
As you can see in the overview below, CES 2024 will be the first event in a completely new AI-centric era, making AI a major throughline across almost every big event.
