The new report doesn’t specify exactly what these AI features will do, but it does suggest that Google and Samsung are doing it with features like text-to-image generation, document summarization and content translation. It can be assumed that it will be similar to what exists. Apple is also rumored to be using its own LLM model for its Siri overhaul.
There are no major hardware changes planned for the iPhone 16 series, and Apple will likely try to push new AI features as a key selling point for its upcoming devices. The iPhone 16 series is also expected to be released with all four models equipped with the Apple A18 chip.
