Onasset Intelligence Hires Nanothings Co Founder As Connected Label Product Manager

NanoThings Inc. co-founder and former CEO Tim Williams has been hired by Irving-based OnAsset Intelligence to lead new product development and innovation for a full line of connected label products.

Leveraging new technologies, manufacturing processes and form factors, the intelligent connected label provides industry-first capabilities that add layers of visibility and data capture to global logistics stakeholders, Onasset said. The company is adding talent with the skill sets needed to deliver innovative and useful solutions to its customers.

“We are excited to add Tim Williams to our team. He brings a wealth of knowledge in connected label technology and a unique vision of how we can solve our customers’ problems.” OnAsset CEO said Adam Crossno in a statement.

Crossno said the company has spent years partnering with customers to build a global network of gateways and connected devices that communicate seamlessly, creating the world’s largest supply chain visibility mesh network.

“Our vision for the future is a complete suite of tools that can collect location, sensor, and storage management data at the edge across all transportation and storage modes,” Crossno said. “Having products that can communicate with each other allows us to offer flexible, cost-effective solutions that leverage our global scale for the benefit of everyone. Our new product lines and innovations fit perfectly into that strategy.”

And Krosno added, “We can expect even more from OnAsset.”

Asset tracking experience

Williams said he wants to join a company that has been a “powerhouse of innovation in the IoT and connected logistics space” for nearly 20 years.
